We tend to think that natural forms are discovered while artificial forms are invented, but when stripped to its essentials the path to arriving at a novel natural form is exactly the same journey as arriving at a novel artificial form. “


It’s been all about ideas, inventions and discoveries lately and how they come to be. I’ve read Steven Johnson’s Where Good Ideas Come From, and have yet to get a copy of Kevin Kelly’s What Technology Wants (both were released last October).
